About Our Office Moves
Every office move is individually surveyed and coordinated in partnership with your designated project manager.
Where required, we schedule work outside normal hours (evenings, overnight or weekends) to minimise disruption
so there’s no need to pause operations. From the first call we agree clear success criteria, timelines and a
communication plan so your teams always know what’s happening and when.
Pre-move planning that prevents downtime
Your move manager starts with a detailed site survey covering access, loading bays, lift sizes, parking,
security and any permits needed. We map headcounts, departmental adjacencies and special handling items,
then produce a floor plan with desk numbering and destination labels. A phased schedule is created to suit
your trading hours, with contingency time built in for peak-hour traffic or building restrictions. We liaise
directly with building management to book lifts, arrange protection for floors and walls, and confirm any
induction requirements well in advance.
Smart packing, crates and labelling
We offer a full professional packing service, or your team can pack selected items using our short-term crate
hire. Colour-coded labels, location codes and barcoded inventories make tracking simple and speed up setup at
the destination. Monitors and desktop equipment are protected with purpose-made screen sleeves and IT bags,
while filing is moved in sealed crates to preserve order. For heavier or unusual items (safes, plotters,
printers, racking or lab kit) we prepare specific handling methods and provide lifting aids to ensure a safe,
compliant move.
IT decommissioning and reconnection
Working alongside your internal or external IT team, we agree a shutdown sequence, cable management approach
and packing standards for each device. Assets can be tagged and reconciled at both ends of the journey, with
chain-of-custody available for sensitive drives and servers. At the new site we position equipment to plan,
reconnect to power and data, and support basic function checks so users can log in and start work without
delay. Where required, we coordinate power/network testing with your providers ahead of move day.
On-the-day execution
Crews receive a toolbox talk, RAMS briefing and task sheet before work begins. We install building protection,
manage loading bay rotations and maintain a live schedule so each phase runs to time. Vehicles are GPS-tracked,
and supervisors keep you informed with milestone updates. At destination we follow the agreed floor plan,
assemble furniture as needed and place crates at the correct workstations, ready for unpack.
Post-move setup and support
Our team completes unpacking to your preferences, removes packing materials, and collects empty crates on a
schedule that suits your teams. We generate a snag list for any late-stage adjustments and can provide churn
support for follow-on moves, new starters or departmental reshuffles. If your fit-out is staged, we can store
surplus furniture and documents in secure facilities and redeliver as areas complete.
Safety, sustainability and compliance
Safety is built into every stage: project-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), PPE for all
operatives, and lift/floor protection as standard. We prioritise reusable crates over cardboard, segregate waste
for recycling and arrange licensed WEEE disposal for
redundant electronics. Route planning reduces travel time and emissions, while careful asset auditing helps you
identify items for reuse, resale or donation rather than skip.
In short, our process is designed to make office removals in London predictable, safe and efficient:
a clear plan, specialist packing, careful IT handling and hands-on coordination from first survey to final sign-off.
Relocating your office is the ideal time to sort files and folders for archive storage. Please see our Data & Document Storage page for information on our archive storage options.
