Retention at Central Moves isn’t just a line in the staff handbook. It shows up in the calendar as match tickets, days out, and the odd surprise treat for whoever’s earned one. This weekend, that meant Brentford.
A trip to the Gtech
Director Scott Rust took two members of the Central Moves team to the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday 15 August 2026, for Brentford’s final preseason friendly against Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. Three of them made the trip: Scott and two of his staff, tickets sorted, expectations fairly low for a friendly at the end of preseason.
Those expectations didn’t survive kick-off.

Seven-nil, and not a bad seat in the house
Brentford took Frankfurt apart. Kevin Schade scored twice. So did Igor Thiago. Dango Ouattara and Keane Lewis-Potter both got on the scoresheet, and Mamadou Sangaré marked his first appearance at the Gtech with a stunning volley from the edge of the box. Seven goals, no reply, and the home end in full voice well before half time.
For three lads who’d swapped a Saturday off for the away end, it turned into one of the better days out the reward scheme has produced.

A word from Scott
“Days like this are what the reward scheme is about,” said Scott Rust, Director at Central Moves. “The team puts in long hours and hard shifts, so a day out watching football together, with a scoreline like that, is a good way to say thank you.”
Open to the whole team
This trip wasn’t tied to length of service or a sales target. It’s part of an ongoing scheme at Central Moves that’s open to anyone on the books: driver, packer, office staff, no fixed shortlist. Scott picked this one himself, but the next name on the list could be anyone’s.
More trips are already being planned. If staff retention means anything at Central Moves, it’s days like this: a proper thank you, not just a line on a payslip.
